The Challenge

A regional HGV fleet operator was planning routes manually using a combination of driver experience and basic mapping tools. No systematic approach to fuel efficiency, no scheduling optimisation, and no visibility into operational performance across the fleet.

Our Intervention

We built a route optimisation system that accounts for vehicle weight, road classification, fuel consumption profiles, and time windows. Integrated scheduling automation that assigns loads based on availability, capacity, and geographic efficiency. Connected to an operational dashboard giving dispatch real-time fleet visibility.

The Outcome

Fuel efficiency improved meaningfully across the fleet. Daily dispatch scheduling time reduced significantly, with real-time visibility replacing manual tracking.
